My Prayer Closet, Part One

Matthew 6:6
“But little T-Bird, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your folding closest doors and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

This post is dedicated to you re-discovering the little girl or the little boy inside of you. . .

When I was a little girl, I needed, desperately needed security. There was a host of dynamics that feed my fears, forging a need for security. I crawled into my closest, behind folding doors, with a pillow as big as I was and curled into a ball of fragile need. Backed into a darkened corner, I did not know then, God was forging my prayer closet relationship with His Christ. I recently found closure, with Christ in that childhood prayer closet. I hear whispers of sharing that secret. . .But it is not fully developed.

This concept has a calling, a “Living With The Hourglass,” calling as a new chapter in the book with which God and I are playing. This is just a tickle of what is to come. . .God’s grace and mercy allowing this book to come forth for Him. . .
