Who Do You Know That Needs a Touchdown?

Take a minute to watch this link from guardian.co.uk news story.

Go little Jack, win your fight and teach the adults around you what it takes to get 60,000 fans on their feet roaring for life!

Another nightmare, which most of us will never begin to experience it’s darkness, from which a dream, sparkling with the light of celebration,  was born.

Isn’t that soooo our God. . .He means it for good.

Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. NASB

We need triumph. We need a win. We need a touchdown. We need a scoreboard to register a run. At least a first down. I want to maximize little Jack’s run we just witnessed, beyond that news clip and beyond the stadium to our lives. It is about little Jack, and it is about those team players and it is about the fans and it is about each one of us.

Every cell in our being responds to a win because we are made to be victorious.

Romans 8:37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is our through Christ, who loved us. NLT

Who in your life needs a touchdown? It takes a team for a touchdown. We need to be cheered on, we need someone to pass us the ball, we need blockers that help us make our way to the “finish line.” We need to know our “run matters.”

If you need a run, a victory. . . God means you to have a team behind you. Expect God to show up for you. I would not set my sights on the Nebraska Football Team, 🙂  but He knows what you need for victory in Christ.

If you see a need for a run, be part of the team that cheers and encourages.

Let’s close with this challenge:

Let God Define Your Victory.  I am not in a game, I’m on a life battlefield too, so I’m not issuing this challenge without awareness of it’s weight.

This I know, It’s His Victory, I seek. It’s an eternal One. It’s a victory  that makes a Kingdom of Difference in my life and in yours.

Let's Talk. . .
