Intention

“We need deliberately to call to mind the joys of our journey. Perhaps we should try to write down the blessings of one day.  We might begin; we could never end; there are not pens or paper enough in all the world.” — George A. Buttrick  (http://www.heartlight.org)

  1. Thank you for the reminder to count blessings – it is too easy to focus on the bad. You are always an inspiration to me. Praying for you daily. Much love….Michelle

  2. Tracey Becca,
Funny that you sent this today; how timely. Ever since since my back surgery, eight weeks ago today,my sleep cycles are all messed up. I have been off all pain medication for weeks now, but my old “night owl” tendencies have come back. Last night, as I lay awake well past midnight, I started listing my zillions of blessings, from my parents and family, to include your Mom and Dad and you and Oochie. Ya’ll have treated me as a sister/daughter since Toby and I married 49 years ago. I finally fell asleep after many, many lists, too numerous to write down. For that I am so grateful to be a part of the family–as well as many other blessings.
We think and speak—and pray many times a day for you, Bucky and the kids. We wish we could be closer to help out, but are so grateful and thankful for your incredible support team. I have been so blest for all of our friends here, to be here for me, as well as our kids who are always checking up to see how I am behaving. Drove for the first time today, and went fo the Soup Kitchen for an hour and a half! So excited to get out again. That first step back felt great.
Hang in there, my little one, and know you are so loved! You ARE a blessing to all who know you.
    Hugs and prayers,
    Char Mama

  3. Thank you for the reminder to be thankful. You inspire me in ways you will never know, Tracey! Tomorrow I will gather with some sweet ladies and we will lift you up in prayer to the Father. I think of you and pray for you often, and I thank the Lord for your example and the light that you are!
